Emma Benwell
CYPF Quality Improvement and Operations Manager
Emma has worked with young people throughout her career, within Education, Social Care and the third sector. She has previously worked within a Safeguarding Partnership as well as spending over a decade in the classroom as a qualified teacher and assistant headteacher, with particular expertise and experience in Special Education Needs and Mental Health. Emma's current role sees her working closely alongside colleagues in CAMHS, leading Response's Mental Health Support Team in schools and working within the CYP&F leadership team to ensure young people receive impactful services and that staff thrive within their role. During her downtime, Emma enjoys spending time with her husband and two active young boys and can often be found at the side of a sports field cheering them, on with a hot coffee in her hand. She has recently joined a gym and has an ambition to complete a spartan competition for charity.
