Carramar House is Response’s 24-hour supported housing service, run in partnership with Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust. It provides a safe and structured environment for adults who need continued high-level support following long stays on acute psychiatric or rehabilitation wards.
Our recovery-focused approach helps residents develop greater independence in a community setting. With personalised support, we empower individuals to build life skills, manage their mental health, and work towards their personal goals.
At Carramar House, our dedicated team provides one-to-one support, encourages meaningful activity, and offers guidance on financial management, daily living skills, and overall wellbeing. We work closely with external agencies to ensure the best possible care while maintaining a person-centred approach that respects residents' choices and promotes self-determination.

Carramar House supports individuals in developing the skills and confidence needed to transition towards independent living. Our team provides personalised assistance with daily activities, mental and physical health management, and emotional wellbeing. We encourage residents to engage in meaningful activities, build social connections, and develop practical life skills, fostering greater independence in a supportive community environment.
Capacity & Description:
Carramar House provides comfortable and well-equipped accommodation in a safe and welcoming environment. The service offers single bedrooms, each designed to support residents’ recovery and independence. Residents also have access to shared communal spaces, including a cosy living area, dining room, and garden, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
