Your Will and Your Gift
For many of us, there are moments when we reflect on the impact we've made and the legacy we wish to leave behind. Sometimes, this leaves us with the desire to make a lasting difference in the world and to ensure that our values and passions live on. One of the most powerful ways to do this is through leaving a legacy (gift in your Will).
Your Will is a way of making sure that the assets you leave behind (e.g. money, property, other possessions), are left in the hands of people chosen by you. It is an important way of ensuring your loved ones are supported in the future. It can also be a way of leaving your memory behind, and associating your life with the something you are passionate about.
You can write your Will yourself, or you can contact a solicitor to help you draw up your Will.
Your Will must be witnessed and signed and you should keep it safe once it is legally valid.
The type of gift you decide to give to Response, is entirely your choice to make when writing your Will. You can leave a fixed amount of money, a particular item, or a share of your estate.
