Emma Murphy

Emma has over 16 years of experience in fundraising and marketing, starting her career as a Marketing Assistant before advancing through a variety of roles within the third sector. Most recently, she served as Head of Income Generation at Bowel Research UK. Emma has led successful fundraising programmes at organisations including Helen and Douglas House Children’s Hospice, Oxfam, British Red Cross, and Merlin (now part of Save the Children). In 2024, Emma joined Response as the Associate Director of Fundraising, Marketing, and Communications.

With a 2:1 degree in Psychology, Emma is passionate about mental health and advocating for greater inclusivity for neurodivergent individuals. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, particularly her two young sons, one of whom is autistic. Emma is also a keen netball player and a strong advocate for inclusivity in all aspects of life.
