Volunteer With Us

If you’re looking to help us in our mission to enable people with mental health challenges to live their lives to the full, then you’ve come to the right place.

We have volunteering opportunities available for individuals and businesses looking to make a positive impact.

Volunteer With Us

We're looking for individuals to help support at our fundraising events, which are raising money to improve our mental health services. This is an enjoyable and simple way to support our efforts and create a profound difference in the lives of our residents.

Many businesses now offer their employees opportunities to give back to the community through volunteering days. At Response, you can have a huge impact on the lives of our residents through supporting our decorating and gardening projects.  This is an excellent opportunity for your company and employees to collaborate as a team or individually, with the afterglow feeling of the impact they have made to the lives of people's with mental health challenges.

Find out about current volunteering opportunities below.

1. Volunteer at Events

We're always on the lookout for help!

Future events that you could get involved with include Quizzes, Barbecues, Fetes, Fun-Runs, Gala Dinners and many more!

Find out more about volunteering at events below.

We're currently looking for organisations to support with the renovation of outdoor spaces in a handful of our properties. We would love for your organisation to gather a team of people and spend a day at one of our supported housing locations, making the gardens into a relaxed and therapeutic space for residents to use.

What we are looking for:

- Digging in flower beds
- Planting flowers and seeds
- Sanding and painting garden furniture
- Racking leaves and tidying up the gardens
- Weeding and pruning
- Making areas for herbs and flowers
No gardening experience needed- just a willingness to lend a hand and make a difference to the lives of people we support!

Is this something your organisation would like to help with? If so, contact us at: Response.Fundraising@response.org.uk

2. Offer up your venue!

Do you have access to some gardens, a school playing field or grounds which would be suitable for a fundraising barbecue, garden party or picnic? Do you have a venue we can use? No matter how big or small your venue, get in contact and let's collaborate!

2. Become a Trustee

We are also particularly interested in finding individuals who can volunteer their time as Trustees for the organisation. Join our board  of Trustees and help shape the strategic direction of the organisation. If you have a genuine passion for our mission, and can dedicate your time to us over a longer period of commitment as a Trustee, have a look at our vacancies area below.
